'The issue is now resolved I had a open reach engineer out today due to my upload speed being capped at 50mb on the 900mb package and the engineer contacted open reach technical team who advised my profile package with open reach was setup incorrectly which put a cap on the package and the adviser on open reach side did something on their end and now up getting around 110 upload from 50mb so when contacting BT advise them to contact open reach regarding this issue and to check your profile is setup correctly with open reach.' Should the information in the post turn out to be true I will let you all know but am not going to jump the gun and going to jump to conclusions. Now, there was a post on the BT forum that calls this into doubt and I have asked for an answer. At least that was what I was informed of over at the BT forum and they normally tell me the truth as I know most of them personally. It will normally resolve itself wihin 72 hours otherwise will need (in the case of BT Community forum) intervention of a Mod (it is apparently a memory buffer/overun protection setting identified with VDSL/G.FAST connections.). There's a lot of myths/speculation about this issue and most are incorrect.
